Happy Easter everyone!
We ended up deciding not to travel this weekend. Still not feeling 100% plus last minute travel on public holidays is expensive and overcrowded. Instead we are just chilling out, not doing a great deal. Christine went shopping with the girls on Good Friday. Yes that’s right, apart from having 2 public holidays, the English don’t really care for Easter it seems. Unlike back home where there isn’t even football on, everything is open over here as normal, shops, pubs etc…
Saturday Damien is going to head to the Aussie pub again to check out a couple of footy games. Christine and the girls are going to brave the cold (yes its gotten really cold again), and head down to the river. There is a boat race between two uni’s, Cambridge and Oxford.
The last week or so has seen the hostel fill up with a few new people about the place. This is a good thing, they seem pretty nice.
Sunday Christine and one of the new girls are planning on cooking a roast, while Damien and a few guys sit on the couch, drink beer and watch the Grand Prix. That’s the plan anyway, we will see how it all goes!
